Like many couples these days, we met online. After exchanging messages for a few weeks, we agreed to meet for our first date at Gloria's in Addison. Dan asked Taylor for a second date before the first ended. We saw each other again that same week and began dating. The conversation was incredibly easy and it quickly became clear we shared core values, life goals, and our faith. Since then, we have enjoyed many lovely dates, trying new restaurants and cooking many homemade meals together. We have gone on many excursions including annual trips to the State Fair of Texas, Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo, and Grapefest. We have shared many concerts together. Highlights include Turnpike Troubadours, Eli Young, Chicago/Earth Wind & Fire, and George Strait at Kyle Field. We have seen many plays and musicals. Our favorites have been Hamilton, Les Misérables, and White Christmas. We have also loved our travels together, to Florida, Disney, the Maine Coast, and Southern Italy.

Dan proposed on August 23rd outside the Kimbell Art Museum. Taylor said yes...of course. Dan had put the ring on Taylor's finger before his knee even touched the ground!

We are so excited for our married life to begin and are excited to share our wedding celebration with you!
